Post Follow Me Home: Jay Rock
on: August 3, 2011, 15:38

It has truly been the summer for Hip-Hop in the city of Los Angeles. With Dom Kennedy making his commercial debut on "From The West Side With Love II", to Compton's Kendrick Lamar dropping his highly anticipated "Section 80", and now Jay Rock dropping his debut "Follow Me Home", it is safe to say the West Coast has been dominating Summer 2011. Last Tuesday, on July 26th, Jay Rock the young heavy hitter from Watts, dropped his debut album "Follow Me Home" and has been blowing up the blogs and underground airwaves ever since. With no intentions of making it radio friendly, Jay admitted he wanted to make his debut for the streets. The album is bass heavy, in your face, and gritty, yet is sensitive to the hardships that people go through while growing up in the struggle. "Follow Me Home"...check it out
