El Nino has definitely been serving up some hefty swells this winter. We usually only see Derek dropping in on huge monsters. Although it hasn’t been huge lately San Diego has seen a steady flow of fun punchy surf. Derek shows that he’s no one trick pony. Speed, timing and style allow Derek to draw a high line we all wish we could follow.
