Once you go Matuse you'll never go back, I tried and it wasn't even close to the fit, weight, maneuverability, longevity, and quality that the Tumo offers. When the suit last 4-5 years it's worth the investment. I'm Hooked on Matuse for life!
Great quality suit and rubber. Fits perfectly.
Gotta visit somewhere colder. Thanks to some weight loss, Tumo, Scipio, and Dante suits in the back of the closet became perfect fits. A Dojo had already been an OK fit, now better. Trying the newly wearable 3 and 4 mm suits (a couple hooded) in the water revealed that hoods are likable (I need to keep my ears warm and head protected from sun), so supplementing my current OK 5/4 (Hyperflex) with a WHS Tumo seemed a good idea. It was. Just like its thinner counterparts, excellent construction, not leaky, and a slick interior lining fabric to make getting it on and off easier. And still lightweight when wet. I’ve had it with furry carpet-lined suits that are clingy and absorb lots of water.
I use this for swimming in a lake in the Seattle area. I am sure the water temperature is at or below what is recommended for this suit. I stay in for at least 1.5 hours and swim at a good pace. This suit keeps me at a good temperature for vigorous swimming. I am very pleased with it.
