Epic suit

Great suit. Love the back zip. No flush and easy on off. Don’t discontinue! Fast drying and last forever. A little stiff first session or two but once broken in fits like a glove! Runs true to size

Tight on neck/trapezius but very very Warm

This is my third matuse. I love these suits, but this is my first of their backzips. I’m 6’0” and 3 quarters (185 cm) and 140 lbs (tall and skinny) so I have always worn a medium tall and it’s usually fine. I’ve worn this 4/3 Hoplite 3 times and every time so far it’s very tight and borderline painful on my trapezius/ neck and shoulders area... - to the point where I wanna pull the zipper down a bit. I’ve never had this problem with the chest zip Dante . I hope it stretches out soon as wettys usually do. Other than that, this is the warmest suit I’ve had! 4/3 is great feeling.

Great quality suit and is very warm. A little tight at first but will stretch to the right areas once broken in!

Size Medium is on the Small side

I have owned a Hoplite before and it's a great back zip suit. This latest version I purchased is sized small for a Medium. I'm 5'10", 155 lbs and wear a Medium in all the suits I own including other Matuse. This Hoplite 4/3 Medium is not tall enough on me and pulls down on my neck/trapezius area. I almost returned it but I am hoping it will loosen up with time/use. Overall quality is great and the 4/3 was plenty warm with booties on the Central Coast of CA.
