Joan of Arc aka d’Arc was a warrior heroine who at the age of 18 became a general for the French army. In this spirit, your d’Arc will conquer any surf session without all the swords and armor.

The d’Arc with Geoflex follows the Matuse mantra of making products Ichiban (the best) by looking forward at developing materials and construction that are built in the most sustainable ways.

Matuse’s Geoflex Limestone Rubber is made with Eco Carbon Black additive that is recycled from post-consumer scrap tires, in combination with water-based adhesives for fabric lamination, instead of conventional solvent-base glues. This helps eliminate Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) while maintaining bonding strength aka the durability you expect from Matuse. Additionally, we use a dope-dying yarn to add color before yarn extrusion, skipping traditional dying processes to save on energy and water. Also, all of our trimmed edges when cutting wetsuit patterns are reused to produce more Geoflex sheets to make more Matuse products and minimizes waste.

The d'Arc with Geoflex is fair-trade certified and is the next generation of responsible building that doesn’t sacrifice on the performance you expect.

Love this suit!

The suit is warm, comfortable and fits me well. I wouldn't say it dries in a day (a lot of variables to that I guess) so I bought a second one to make sure I have a dry suit everyday. I also wear Ferals but for a 3/2 this is just as comfortable and warm, and was more than half the price (got it on sale). I got the size 6, and I'm 5'5", 128lbs, athletic build, and fits well. I also like the styling, and the taping seems secure. Highly recommend this suit!

INCREDIBLE suit

This wetsuit is truly amazing. The geoprene blows my mind, as I can feel that the water around me is cold but I don’t feel it inside my suit. I was a bit skeptical when I read that it was 90% water impermeable, but I am now completely convinced. When tiniest bit of water does get in, it warms up immediately and stays warm. I was out for 75 minutes in 63 degree water, and there were times I was actually overheating. By the end of my session I was no longer hot, but I wasn’t anywhere even close to being cold.

The material is soft, smooth, and flexible. I’m really impressed with the mobility I have in my shoulders, while the fit stays so tight. I also love the fact I’m not being strangled by the collar of the chest zip, as I have been in some other wetsuits.

Full disclaimer: it IS difficult to get on. But it’s a high quality tight wetsuit so that’s to be expected. Getting yourself into it might make you sweat. Turns out that the suit being a bit damp actually makes it easier to put on, so that’s a plus if you’re not waiting long between sessions. I’ve never had a suit before where it being wet actually helps.

If you have the luxury of trying before you buy, do. I’m 5’0, 122 lbs with the measurements 37-26-38 and the 6S fits like a glove. It’s an effort to get on, but once I’m in it, it’s great. Not too long in the legs when I pull the knee pads all the way up. It’s definitely a slim fit, and I’m pushing the end of the limit for the 6S, but made it work.

I was warned that it’s difficult to get out of. That is also true, but honestly I have more trouble getting out of front zips with my double-wide shoulders. Getting the chest zip opening over my shoulders and down my arms feels like a breeze in comparison to trying to bust out of a front zip with the wetsuit crawling back over each shoulder as soon as you get the other one out. It might take a bit of practice to get it, but in my opinion it’s not even half as hard.

10/10 would recommend.

The only proper wetsuit brand - especially for female surfers!

Matuse suits exceed all other brands in terms of comfort, design, functionality, and durability. From their spring suits to their 5/4 mm, all of their wetsuits provide a comfortable and sleek fit that I have not been able to find with any other female wetsuit brand. The suits also dry the most quickly compared to other brands. I highly recommend Matuse…it’s the only proper wetsuit for any water temp or swell. Ichiban is ichiban.

Almost Perfect

Fits great, comfortable. I'm 5'6, 130 lbs and ordered a size 8. I wanted to love this wetsuit, but I like to wear my hair in a bun while surfing, and the neck is too high, it pulls on all the hair under the bun when I'm paddling. Gotta wear my hair down to not be annoyed the whole time
